Our Vision
Preservation · Development · Innovation
The Global Vietnamese Network (GVN) is a non-profit organization incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, operating as a collaborative network among organizations and communities in Canada and internationally.
GVN serves to connect, coordinate strategies, develop joint programs, build partnerships, and create cooperation opportunities among members and partners. GVN is not a parent organization to the Member Organizations. Each Member Organization maintains complete independence regarding its legal entity status, governance, assets, finance, programs, and legal liability. Furthermore, participation in GVN does not automatically create any ownership, control, or legal liability between GVN and the Member Organization.
Our Mission
To build a broadly connected and collaborative network of the Vietnamese community in Canada and internationally, contributing to the preservation of Vietnamese cultural identity, the development of the younger generation, and the promotion of understanding and cooperation between the Vietnamese community and other communities.
Core Pillars
GVN focuses on youth development, community education, and the preservation of Vietnamese culture, heritage, and language across areas such as arts, culinary arts, tourism, and community-based sports. Its mission also encompasses community exchange and cooperation, people-to-people engagement, and the strengthening of friendship relations between Canada, Vietnam, and the international community through active collaboration with governments, educational institutions, social organizations, businesses, and relevant partners.
